“The person you’ll have the hardest time opening to and truly loving without reserve is yourself. Once you can do that, you can love the whole universe unconditionally.”

― Adyashanti, Falling Into Grace

Aubri’s story

In my 45 years on this earth and 20 + years as a facilitator of change, I have journeyed on my own path of understanding how simple and yet how complex this can be. I come from a tapestry of nine cultures and a complex background that has inspired my work and understanding of life and relationships. Our internal worlds, our family of origin, our ancestry, our cultures and communities all have an impact on how we are able to show up and relate with ourselves and each other.

And I have found that learning how to deeply listen and see ourselves and each other, without shame or blame, but with deep curiously and openness can build a bridge home to the love and connection we seek.

We are perfectly imperfect in our journey on this earth. I am here to help you do this life thing with greater support, love, acceptance and understanding. It’s not just what I’m trained to do, it’s who I am.

I am also founder of the Center for Embodied Listening and the creator of the Model of Somatic Resonance and Attunement™. A space dedicated to exploring and expanding how we listen to, witness and connect through embodied and relational ways. I have over 20 years of experience supporting folks to enhance their personal and relational well-being.

I have over 20 years of experience in bio-psycho-spiritual health including working as a senior mental health occupational therapist across the human lifespan.

My work is also informed by diverse wisdom traditions, qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Sociology and Art History, clinical experience as a Mental Health Occupational Therapist, academic experience as a university educator, my roles as a dancer, artist, yoga and mindfulness medication instructor, and my deep relationship and experience with art, poetry, compassion and movement as healers.

My experience has shaped a non-pathologizing, embodied, evolving multi-system approach. I embrace the complexities of our existence with compassion, curiosity and creativity.

I have taught in community spaces, professional clinics and universities. I am respected in the wellness community and am passionate about teaching future practitioners this powerful medicine and way of relating in the world.

My approach as a facilitator is rooted in traditions, teachings and frameworks from wisdom traditions and systemic approaches emphasizing attunement, embodied integration, interconnectedness, and radical compassion. Some of my influences and teachers include:

* Radical self-acceptance and compassionate communication and leadership (Adyashanti, Bréne Brown, Debra Birks, Dr Kelly McGonigal, Miki Kashtan, Kate Raffin, Jessie Weins Chu).

* Somatic & Self-inquiry practices (Adyashanti, Tara Brach, Byron Katie, Matt Dilges, My own curious heart).

* Relational Mindfulness and Compassionate Communication (Debroah Eden Tull, Dr. Kristin Neff, David Bedrick, Marshall Rosenberg).

* Family and Systemic Constellations ( Matt Dilges, Margarete Koening, Bruce Nayowith, Leslie Nipps, Laura Widman, ).

* Internal Family Systems (Einat Bronstein, Paul Ginter, Frank Anderson ).

* Wisdom Teachings (Thích Nhất Hạnh,Pema Chödrön, Adyashanti, Mirabai Starr, Tara Brach, Douglas Brooks, David Harshada Wagner, Christopher Hareesh Wallis).

* Creative Expression (Expressive arts, dance, poetry, and somatic movement and inquiry through my personal journey and those that have shared these open spaces with me).

I hope to walk beside you as you uncover what lies within you and begin to experience more and more understanding, connection and love both within yourself and with life itself.
